Our January Bean of the Month is an Organic Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee from the Finca Ceylan farm located in San Miguel Pochuta, Chimaltenango, Atitlán.
The farm has existed since the 1870's and is owned by the Echeverria family. Finca Ceylan has a strong focus on sustainability and conserves their natural resources by growing a variety of crops and encouraging all local flora and fauna to co-exist with their coffee plantations.
Furthermore, Finca Ceylan support their employees and their families by providing access to medical care and education.
