Our Forza coffee beans are perfect for the sophisticated person who enjoys a blend that delivers a kickstart with bold flavours, beautiful aromas and an intense caffeine hit.
With a primarily Arabica coffee beans base, we’ve added a depth of complexity by including a small amount of the highest quality Robusta coffee beans, which contain twice the caffeine of Arabica beans.
Discovering the origins behind Forza coffee beans
Forza is an exotic coffee blend that combines coffee beans from four different regions.
Brazilian single-origin coffee is chosen for its full-bodied chocolate and roasted nuts flavours.
Indonesian coffee beans are added for their intense dried fruit aromatics and oak flavour, tempered by a toffee-sweet Kenyan with clean, crisp acidity.
The two Papua New Guinean single-origin coffee beans play off against each other: the sweet and smooth milk chocolate and honey of the Bourbon Arusha varietals balance the intense flavours of the Robusta coffee beans, brought in for their extra caffeine.
Café quality coffee at home – a bold and intense caffeine hit
No matter how you drink your Forza coffee, it’s not for the faint-hearted.
When prepared on an espresso machine, Forza’s bold flavours of Arabica and Robusta coffee beans cut through the milkiness of lattes and cappuccinos, and the oak and toffee flavours really shine.
Some long-term customers swear that making a plunger with Forza coffee beans and adding a dash of milk is the perfect morning ritual before tackling the day. Some more daring customers brew it Italian style on a stovetop for a supercharged short black.
Crafting our unique Forza coffee flavour profile
Roasted daily in our Brisbane warehouse, the Forza coffee blend is a medium-dark roast created from carefully sourced origin coffees from around the world.
Our artisan coffee roasters make sure the coffee beans are put through stringent testing by our Q-grader, to maintain the boldness and quality of each batch of Forza. So you know you’re consistently getting a premium product when you buy coffee beans from Merlo.
With its sweet flavours, chocolate notes and lingering burnt caramel finish, Forza lives up to its name.
